5 years agoNew England Patriots kicker Nick Folk (appendix) will miss Week 13 against the Texans after undergoing an appendectomy, according to a source. The procedure was done laparoscopically, which is minimally invasive, meaning that Folk should only miss one game and return in Week 14. The Patriots will need to add a kicker before Sunday night, however. In three games for the Patriots this year, Folk is 7-for-9 on field goals and 3-for-3 on his extra points. Any kicker for New England is typically fantasy relevant, although the Pats offense has struggled of late.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
