Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon registered two helpers on Tuesday night, further solidifying his case to become the NHL's Hart Trophy winner as league MVP. The two points allowed MacKinnon to eclipse the 90-point mark for the first time in his career and raised his league-leading points per game to 1.40. While MacKinnon has been on a tear all season, he now has points in 13 straight games (26 points) and has vaulted his team into a playoff spot over the streak. The 2013 first overall pick is an absolute must-start every night, so make sure he is in your lineups as the Avalanche host the Kings on Thursday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
