Miles Sanders Should Be Good To Go
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (chest) was a full practice participant on Friday after being limited in practice on Thursday. Unless he suffers a setback, Sanders should be fine to serve as the team's lead back for the Monday night contest against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. The 24-year-old has carried the ball 28 times for 129 yards (4.6 yards per carry) while also adding five catches on seven targets for an additional 43 yards on 66.7 percent of the offensive snaps. Rookie Kenneth Gainwell is the clear backup in Philly's backfield. Sanders will be looking to find the end zone for the first time in 2021, but the Dallas defense has allowed just 117 rushing yards and no scores to RBs through the first two weeks. Sanders will be a midrange RB2 on Monday night.
