Miles Mikolas To Start Game 1 Of NLCS
5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas will start Game 1 of the National League Championship Series against the Nationals on Friday. He'll be followed by Adam Wainwright in Game 2, Jack Flaherty in Game 3 and Dakota Hudson in Game 4. The 31-year-old Mikolas led the league with 18 wins in 2018 while posting a 2.83 ERA in 200 2/3 innings. He wasn't quite as good in 2019, finishing with 14 losses and a 4.16 ERA. However, he gave up just a run in five innings in his lone start in the NLDS against the Braves and had a perfect inning in relief. His mediocre 6.7 career K/9 leaves a lot to be desired for those chasing K's in DFS playoff action.
