Mike Williams Not At Practice Wednesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) was listed as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday to begin the practice week. Williams is a surprise addition to the Week 6 injury report after he caught eight of his whopping 16 targets for 165 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 5 win over the Cleveland Browns. It's possible that the Bolts are just resting him early in the week, but we'll know more on Thursday. The 27-year-old is in the midst of a breakout season through the first five games of 2021. He's the No. 1 fantasy wideout with 31 catches on 51 targets for 471 yards and a league-leading six touchdowns as quarterback Justin Herbert's go-to guy. As long as Williams is playing, he's become a must-start WR1 for fantasy managers. Keenan Allen, Jalen Guyton and Joshua Palmer would be the three receivers if Williams were to miss any time.
