Mike Williams Catches Six Passes Against Broncos
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams got a boost in his production on Sunday since Keenan Allen was blanketed throughout the day, and he was able to haul in six passes in the loss. Unfortunately, that was less than half the times he was targeted, but it was still good for 74 yards receiving. Williams was the most used wide receiver by far, but both of quarterback Philip Rivers' interceptions came on passes thrown his way as well. Fortunately for Williams, neither were his fault. Williams has certainly shown the ability to get separation and earn the targets, but with the assortment of playmakers available on the Chargers offense, it's unlikely he'll see dependable use from week to week.
