Detroit Red Wings defenseman Mike Green scored a goal and an assist in Friday night's loss to the Calgary Flames. That makes three points in four games for Green since returning from injury and 19 points in 27 games on the season. Injuries have derailed much of Green's season so far, but he has managed to score 0.7 points per game when in the lineup, which is his best rate since the 2012-2013 season. Historically Green has relied on the power play for a large chunk of his point total but has only managed two power-play points this season despite regularly playing on Detroit's top power-play unit. Detroit has struggled on the power play, converting at only 16.9 percent, but unless Detroit and Green can find more success on the man advantage he is better left on the waiver wire except in deeper leagues.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
