Miguel Amaya Moved to 60-Day Injured List

Chicago Cubs catcher Miguel Amaya (oblique) has been transferred to the 60-day injured list on Thursday. This is just a procedural move to free up a spot on the 40-man roster for newly acquired Willi Castro. Amaya has been sidelined since late May due to an oblique issue. That being said, Amaya has already missed more than 60 days, so this move doesn't change his timetable. Amaya is already on a rehab assignment, so hopefully he'll be able to return in the coming weeks.--Andy Webb
