New York Jets free-agent offensive tackle Mekhi Becton visited with the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday and has two more visits upcoming, according to a league source. Becton was the 11th overall pick by the Jets in 2020 out of Louisville. He started just 14 games in his first two seasons in the NFL due to knee injuries and missed all of 2022. The 6-foot-7, 363-pound hulking offensive lineman was finally able to stay healthy last year, starting 16 games for the Jets. The Bengals are searching for offensive tackle help this offseason after Jonah Williams signed with the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday. While Becton's huge frame is great for getting in the way of would-be pass-rushers, he's missed more games (36) than he's played in (31) early in his NFL career.--Keith HernandezRead More News
