Carolina Hurricanes left wing Max Pacioretty (Achilles) will be in the lineup for the first time this season on Thursday against Nashville. This will also be his first-ever appearance for the team after Carolina traded for Pacioretty in July. The veteran star has had his season debut delayed because of a torn Achilles tendon. Pacioretty has averaged at least 0.90 points per game in the past three seasons and is also set to become one of the main offensive weapons for the Hurricanes. However, considering his long layoff and the nature of his injury, Pacioretty shouldn't be expected to be at his very best right from the off.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
