Oakland Athletics shortstop prospect Max Muncy (hand) went 2-for-3 with a solo shot in his return to Triple-A on Friday evening. Muncy was placed on the injured list on May 23 with a hand injury. During his rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League, the former 25th overall pick posted a strong .379/.400/.724 line with two home runs, five RBI, and one stolen base. The young infielder has performed quite well through his first taste of Triple-A ball this year, holding a solid .289/.396/.487 line through 23 games. Muncy is considered the seventh-best prospect in the Oakland system on MLB.com and has a strong chance of reaching the major leagues in the second half of the season.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
