Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy (elbow) said recently that he's getting closer to swinging a bat and could be ready for the start of the 2022 season after tearing his UCL on the final day of the regular season in 2021. Major League Baseball announced on Tuesday that the first two regular season series have been canceled due to the labor dispute, and more regular season games are in jeopardy if a new collective bargaining agreement isn't reached soon. It's terrible news for baseball, but it could help Muncy as he rehabs his injury. Because of the uncertainty around Muncy's health heading into the 2022 season, his draft cost has dropped. But when healthy, he's one of the better power bats at his position after slugging 36 long balls last season.--Keith Hernandez
