Max Muncy Confident He'll Be Ready For Opening Day
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy (finger) had his entire left ring finger wrapped up on Wednesday after getting hit by a pitch in an intrasquad game on Sunday, but he's confident he'll be ready to go by Opening Day on July 23, and he'd find a way to play if it was the regular season or playoffs. Muncy is coming off back-to-back 35 home runs seasons. The infielder also offers fantasy owners plenty of runs, walks and multi-position eligibility, but he's unlikely to help much in the batting average department. The 29-year-old gives the Dodgers flexibility in the infield with the ability to play first, second and third base in a pinch. He currently has an ADP of 66 and should have the opportunity to drive in plenty of runs in LA's stacked lineup.
