5 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) is not expected to practice for the second straight day on Thursday as he continues to nurse his sprained ankle. The Falcons said earlier this week that they planned on Ryan starting in Week 8 against the Seahawks, but all signs right now point to Matt Schaub starting unless Ryan can get in some practice work on Friday. You should be planning to be without Ryan under center this weekend, especially with Atlanta's bye week coming in Week 9. Atlanta's pass-catchers Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley need to be downgraded slightly if Schaub makes the start against Seattle. Schaub will profile as a low-end QB2 option if Ryan is out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
