Ottawa Senators goaltender Matt Murray started for the first time since November 24th. He promptly gave up six goals on 40 shots in a 6-0 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. COVID protocol, injuries, and more made it necessary for Murray to start. The problem was the goalie just could not make those extra saves needed to keep Ottawa somewhat in the game. The other problem was Ottawa looked flat out punchless offensively. Murray still has not won this season as his record dropped to 0-6 while allowing 24 goals. That translates into a goals-against-average of over four. There is a reason why Murray starts so infrequently.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
