New York Islanders center Mathew Barzal recorded one assist in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers, setting up Andy Greene for his first goal of the year. He reached 35 points with the outing. Barzal started April with a huge five-point performance against Washington, but he's actually been quite unproductive in recent weeks, going pointless in seven of his past 13 games. Playing with Leo Komarov on the first line hasn't exactly helped his situation. However, the Isles have just added a nice offensive piece in Kyle Palmieri, and he should provide a nice boost to the team's offense. The 30-year-old has skated as a third-liner in his first couple of games for the Islanders but should take a spot on a scoring line soon.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
