2 years agoNew York Islanders center Mathew Barzal celebrated a hat trick of assists against the Flames on Monday, capping off his wonderful night with a power-play helper on a 4-3 winner in overtime. He was plus-two for the game and added five shots and one block to his line in 24 minutes of work. Barzal has started the season in fine form, sitting on 14 points through 13 games, but he incredibly hasn't yet scored a single goal so far despite firing 37 efforts on net. He's a 10 percent career shooter, so Barzal should have a few in the bag already, but it looks like he is saving his goals for special occasions. This could turn out to be a special season for Barzal once he finds his goal-scoring stick, as the Islanders are playing some great stuff and sit among the league's best attacking sides.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
