Malik Monk Feared To Have Injured MCL
9 months agoSacramento Kings guard/forward Malik Monk could face a long absence after he injured his right knee in Friday's matchup against Dallas. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, there are fears Monk might have suffered a sprained MCL. With him in fantastic form off the Kings bench, Vegas has made Monk the odds-on favorite to with the Sixth Man of the Year Award this season. He's tallied 15.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in 26.0 minutes. The Kings have also recently lost Kevin Huerter (shoulder) for the rest of the season. The backcourt injured should give Davion Mitchell and Chris Duarte more playing opportunities.
