Mack Hollins 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Eighth Season, Sixth Team
Mack Hollins is coming off the second-best season of his eight-year career. Granted, his numbers did not make him a fantasy force by any means. Hollins caught 31 passes for 378 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. He slotted in nicely as a seasoned depth receiver behind Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman and was able to score some touchdowns thanks to Josh Allen’s pinpoint passes. Hollins signed a two-year, $8.4 million deal with the New England Patriots in the offseason, the sixth different squad the journeyman has played with. For now, he does not seem like a starter on the depth chart as he has newly-signed Stefon Diggs, 2024 leading receiver DeMario Douglas, and third-round pick Kyle Williams ahead of him, but Diggs is coming off a torn ACL, Douglas is not a WR1 or WR2, and Williams is unproven and was drafted by an organization not known for drafting receivers well in recent years. Hollins will be hard-pressed to have a 500-yard year with the Patriots, however, and his fantasy value is virtually nil unless he rises through the receiver ranks somehow and becomes QB Drake Maye’s go-to guy. Hollins has never been a WR1 before, so there is no reason to think that changes in 2025.
