Cameron Young Looking For Redemption and Possible First Career Victory in Detroit
Coming off the emotional week at Oakmont, it wasn't surprising to see Cameron Young take a backseat last week in Connecticut. The 28-year-old finished T52, and aside from averaging +1.07 strokes putting, was lackluster in all other aspects. He now sets his sights on this week's Rocket Classic, where he's recorded T6 and T2 finishes in two previous appearances. His distance off the tee certainly plays well here, with missing fairways not being as penal as TPC River Highlands. However, putting is where the longball-hitter really shines, ranking 9th on the season in strokes gained putting (+0.573). At $11,500 on FanDuel, the Detroit Golf Club seems tailor-made for someone like Young to capture a first victory. Play him with confidence.
