2 months agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit (hernia) ran the bases and took ground balls on Friday, and he's been pain-free for several days. Voit has been out since July 30 with a sports hernia, but he's hoping to return later this month. The team has cleared him to continue on-field workouts with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, beginning on Monday. The 28-year-old has been huge for the Bombers this year, hitting .278/.392/.493 with 19 home runs, 16 doubles, a triple and 54 RBI in 94 games, so he should remain stashed in all fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
