Toronto will match up with the Seattle Mariners and right-handed starter Logan Gilbert but will do so with Gurriel Jr. on the bench. The 27-year-old is batting .266 with a .298 on-base percentage, 14 home runs, and a stolen base in 393 plate appearances this season. Corey Dickerson is starting in left field instead and batting fifth. The outfielder is batting .265 with a .324 on-base percentage, two home runs, and three stolen bases in 256 plate appearances this year.
