Logan Webb To Make Rehab Start Thursday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb (shoulder) will make a rehab start for either Triple-A Sacramento or Low-A San Jose on Thursday and will go two innings or around 30 pitches in the outing. Webb has made two trips to the injured list since the middle of May due to shoulder issues, and he's likely to need a few rehab starts before the Giants will have him rejoin the starting rotation. In 10 outings (nine starts) for San Francisco this season, the 24-year-old right-hander has recorded a 3.86 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 54/17 K/BB in 49 innings pitched. He's also sporting an impressive 3.29 FIP and a career-high 9.9 K/9. Don't sleep on Webb in mixed leagues if he was dropped by his previous owner.
