Logan Webb Placed On 10-Day Injured List Thursday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a right shoulder strain. The move will be retroactive to May 31. This comes as a blow to the Giants and fantasy managers as the 24-year-old has been having an overall successful season with a 3.86 ERA and 26.1% strikeout rate. Additionally, the Giants placed outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (thumb) on the 10-day IL with a right thumb sprain. Pitcher Nick Tropeano and utility man Jason Vosler were both called up from Triple-A Sacramento in corresponding moves.
