Chicago White Sox catching prospect Kyle Teel hit a solo home run in a 1-for-5 day at the plate for Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday, his third of the season. After a solid opening weekend to begin the year, the left-handed hitter went into a 3-for-37 (.081) cold stretch, but has shown signs of coming out of the slump recently, now having collected at least one hit in five straight contests. The former first-round draft pick is slashing .214/.321/.414 with three home runs and an 11:25 BB:K through 19 games overall. Teel is expected to make his big league debut this season, but with the White Sox recently promoting fellow backstop Edgar Quero to the big league club, it looks like Teel will have to wait a bit longer. The 23-year-old has long-term fantasy value, but for 2025 fantasy leagues, managers may want to see how things shake out in terms of playing time before trying to stash him away.--Jarod Rupp
