Kyle Freeland Lacks Control In No-Decision
4 years agoColorado Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland took a no-decision on Sunday when he allowed three runs on five hits with four walks and a strikeout in a 4-3 win over the Pirates. Freeland was not at his best on Sunday as it took him 84 pitches--48 strikes--to get through four innings. He allowed an RBI double and RBI groundout to Adam Frazier and a run-scoring single to Ka'ai Tom to account for his three earned runs. He also issued four free passes and only struck out one on the day. He now has a 4.50 ERA, 2.00 WHIP, and 6:7 K/BB ratio over eight innings (two starts). He's likely still a little rusty after a shoulder injury kept him out through the first month and half of the season. Freeland will face the A's at home in his next turn but he can't be trusted for fantasy purposes quite yet.
