Kyle Busch Place Differential a Big Asset at Watkins Glen
3 years agoKyle Busch hit the pace car in New Hampshire, had numerous issues, and never fully recovered. Ultimately, he bowed out after eight laps and finished 37th. Before that, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver had six top-five finishes in his previous seven races. Those included a win at Pocono but more importantly, a fifth at Sonoma and a third at Wisconsin. The younger Busch does have a top ten in his last two tries at Watkins Glenn and has led 17.33% of the laps. There is a chance he could challenge Martin Truex Jr. and even Chase Elliott for the win. Starting 20th will keep Busch from worrying about that slower vehicle as well.
