5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers linebacker Kwon Alexander (pectoral) will be activated from Injured Reserve and will be back on the field on Saturday in the Divisional game against the Vikings, but he's unlikely to play an every-down role after a long layoff. He's nine weeks removed from surgery to fix a torn pectoral and just returned to practice last week. Rookie Dre Greenlaw played weakside linebacker in the second half of the season with Alexander sidelined. An already imposing defense could be getting Alexander, defensive end Dee Ford (hamstring) and strong safety Jaquiski Tartt (ribs) back this weekend.
