KJ Hamler Needs More Volume
3 years agoDenver Broncos second-year wide receiver KJ Hamler was fifth on the team in targets in the Week 2 win over the Jacksonville, and he managed to catch only one of his three targets for five yards. Hamler didn't exactly take advantage of his first game without Jerry Jeudy (ankle) in the starting lineup, and he's also had issues with drops. He has plenty of big-play ability because of his elite speed, though, and Hamler could be just one big play from suddenly becoming a popular waiver-wire pickup in fantasy. That could easily happen in Week 3 against the New York Jets, but fantasy managers can't seriously consider him a starting option in yearly formats just yet, as he's clearly the fourth or fifth option for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater right now.
