Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach (lower body) has been ruled out for Tuesday's meeting with the Carolina Hurricanes. He didn't practice on Monday and is being evaluated for a lower-body injury. Dach has posted 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) in 57 appearances, along with 100 hits. He is carrying a minus-29 rating, which is among the worst in the league. Owen Beck was recalled from the minors on Monday and is an option to replace Dach on Tuesday. The 21-year-old has been a productive player in the AHL, but he hasn't carried over his form into the big league, going scoreless in seven career NHL appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
