Kansas City Royals outfield prospect Khalil Lee (hand) will be shut down from winter ball after suffering a broken bone in his right hand on Wednesday when he was hit by a pitch. Lee was hitting .188 (3-for-16) in the Puerto Rican Winter League before his injury. The speedy outfielder slashed .264/.363/.372 with eight home runs, 51 RBI and 53 stolen bases in 129 games with Double-A Northwest Arkansas. He's the team's No. 4 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and he'll surely be a prospect to watch in dynasty/keeper leagues in 2020. The 21-year-old should be ready for spring training next year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
