4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 9 against the Dolphins. Drake was injured in Week 7 and had the bye week to heal up, but he'll miss at least one game. Chase Edmonds will step in as the replacement against Miami, and he should see the lion's share of touches with rookies Jonathan Ward and Eno Benjamin backing him up. Edmonds had five carries for 58 yards and also caught all seven of his targets for 87 yards in the Week 7 overtime win over the Seahawks. Against a Dolphins Defense that is allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this year, you can safely plug Edmonds in as an RB1 this weekend.
