Karl-Anthony Towns Compiles A Full Line Versus Rockets
2 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns enjoyed a really good all-around game against Houston on Saturday, leading his team to a 129-117 victory with 25 points, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks. He shot a nice 9-for-14 from the field with a 3-for-6 effort from three-point land in 30 minutes of action. Towns clearly enjoyed being the lone tower again for Minnesota, with Rudy Gobert (health and safety protocols) having dropped out of the lineup prior to Saturday's action. It might be Towns' solo show on the Minnesota frontcourt for a bit now, as the T-Wolves get a nice four-game slate next week and it's not known when Gobert can make it back. Kyle Anderson started in his place Saturday night and had a solid showing, while Taurean Prince also benefited from Gobert's absence.
