Kadarius Toney Not Spotted On Monday
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (knee) was not spotted warming up with the team on Monday at training camp. Toney injured his knee during warmups on Sunday and is apparently being held out the next day, which shouldn't really come as a surprise early in training camp. The 24-year-old has elite athleticism and plenty of ability on the football field, but staying healthy early in his NFL career has been hard. In his first two years in the league, he's played in only 19 games (eight starts) for the New York Giants and Chiefs. There is plenty of opportunity for Toney to make a big impact in the Chiefs' passing attack in his first full year with the team in 2022, but injury risk is a real factor when considering his fantasy value. He's absolutely worth a flier as WR3/4 with upside in fantasy drafts.
