Kadarius Toney Limited Again Tuesday
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (knee) put in a second straight day of limited practice on Tuesday. Toney missed most of training camp and all of the preseason after having surgery to fix a torn meniscus in his knee, but he's expected to be available to play in the Week 1 regular season opener on Thursday night against the Detroit Lions. However, the 24-year-old oft-injured wideout will most likely be on some sort of snap count on Thursday if he's active, which makes him an extremely risky fantasy lineup option to kick off the season. The Chiefs aren't going to risk Toney's long-term health, even if tight end Travis Kelce (knee) is unavailable. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore and Justin Watson could see bigger roles in the passing game early on until Toney gets up to speed.
