Justin Fields Won't Play In Week 7
1 year agoChicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) will not play in Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday after dislocating his right thumb in the Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Fields was listed as doubtful to play on Monday and hasn't practiced yet, so fantasy managers can officially move him to their benches for the week and look for a replacement if you haven't already done so. Undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent is expected to get his first NFL start this Sunday after replacing Fields in the game last week. Chicago could be without rookie running back Roschon Johnson (concussion) for the second game, too, so the Bears offense is severely undermanned for this one. Bagent will be nothing more than a desperation QB2 play in superflex leagues.
