Julio Urias Tabbed As Game 1 Starter Against Padres
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Julio Urias will start Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Tuesday against the San Diego Padres, and he'll be opposed by right-hander Mike Clevinger of the Padres. Urias definitely deserves the Game 1 nod after going 17-7 with a 2.16 ERA (3.71 FIP), a 0.96 WHIP, 166 strikeouts and 41 walks in 175 innings over 31 starts just a year after winning a league-high 20 games for the Dodgers. He went a perfect 3-0 and gave up just four earned runs on 15 hits while walking 10 and striking out 18 in 24 innings in his four starts against San Diego this year. Urias will be very popular as a postseason DFS starter on Tuesday.
