Julio Jones Expected To Play Thursday Night
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Julio Jones (knee) is expected to play on Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens after missing the previous three games due to a knee injury, according to sources. It will only be Jones' third game for the Bucs this year, and there's a good chance his snaps will be limited as the team tries to keep him healthy and fresh for later in the season. The 33-year-old veteran had only four catches on seven targets for 76 yards and no touchdowns in his two games earlier this year, and he'll be third behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, at the very least, in the receiving pecking order in his return. If Jones is limited at all against Baltimore, Scotty Miller or Breshad Perriman could see more playing time with Russell Gage (hamstring) out.
