Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick has been placed on the disabled list with a persistent knee infection, per mlb.com. The team will recall outfielder Jake Marisnick as Reddick will try and get the infection under control. This also opens the door for a high volume of short-term at-bats for newly called up speedster Tony Kemp in lieu of Reddick's absence. It has been a disappointing start to the season for Reddick and it appears he has been dealing with this knee issue for some time now. He is hitting .227 with six home runs and 18 runs batted in through 132 at-bats this season after driving in 82 runs and hitting .314 in 2017.--Joey C - RotoBaller
