Josh Reddick Hitting .200 With RISP
6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick is looking to have a strong second half of the season after struggling with injuries and ineffectiveness in the first half. Reddick is currently slugging .508 through 63 at-bats in the month of July and has seven extra-base hits over his last 16 games played. An area where Reddick will need to improve upon is his effectiveness hitting with runners in scoring position. After posting a .346 average in 2017, Reddick is hitting only .200 through 65 at-bats with runners in scoring position. The fact he is hitting the ball with more authority lately is a good sign but his opportunities may dwindle if the Astros add more offense in the outfield at the deadline.
