Josh Jacobs Still Not Practicing Thursday
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (ankle, toe) remains out of practice for the second straight day on Thursday. The Raiders are on a short week after their overtime victory on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens, but fantasy managers should now be somewhat concerned about Jacobs' status heading into Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If he can return to at least a limited practice on Friday, he'd ease a lot of minds heading into the weekend. In a brutal matchup and with injury concerns to boot, Jacobs is looking like more of a shaky RB2/3 ahead of Week 2. If he doesn't end up playing, Kenyan Drake and Peyton Barber would be sharing the backfield, with Drake immediately vaulting into the RB2 picture.
