Josh Gordon Officially Signs With Chiefs
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Josh Gordon passed his physical and officially signed his contract on Tuesday, according to a source. Gordon was reinstated by the league on Monday and was planning to sign with the Chiefs, but now it's official. The 30-year-old hasn't played since late in the 2019 season and was suspended indefinitely last year for violating the league's policies on substance abuse and performance-enhancing substances. The former All-Pro could provide another big-play weapon for KC, as they've struggled to find consistent options behind Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. He's expected to join the team's practice squad first and then be elevated to the active roster once he's comfortable with the playbook. Gordon is worth speculating on off the waiver wire in deeper leagues, but we wouldn't advise spending a large chunk of your FAAB dollars.
