Jordan Lawlar Optioned to Triple-A on Thursday
Jordan Lawlar was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Thursday. The 22-year-old was scorching-hot in Triple-A before his call-up, slashing .336/.413/.579 in 37 games, but was unable to translate that success in the majors, going hitless in 19 at-bats before the demotion. The ineffectiveness can't all be put on Lawlar, he was pretty much only playing every third game and was unable to get into a rhythm. Expect MLB's fourth-ranked prospect to be back in the majors later this season, and the future remains bright for the dynasty hold with 20/20 upside.
