Jonathan Mingo Could Be Bryce Young's Favorite Target
1 year agoAccording to ESPN's Dan Graziano, one of the reasons the Carolina Panthers selected rookie wide receiver Jonathan Mingo with the 39th overall pick in April's draft was because they thought he'd be a good fit with rookie first-round quarterback Bryce Young. Mingo is behind DJ Chark Jr. and Adam Thielen on the depth chart, but there's opportunity for him to pass them early on if Young looks his way enough. Carolina is hoping Young and Mingo can grow together in their roles and form a strong connection for years to come. The 22-year-old, who stands at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, caught 51 passes for 861 yards and five touchdowns in his final season at Ole Miss. Mingo is certainly worth a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.
