7 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jon Jay was promoted back to the leadoff position six games ago, and so far, he’s taken to it like a duck to water. Jay has hit .320 with a .345 OBP and five runs scored in the 27 leadoff plate appearances he’s had since his promotion. While he won’t provide much in the way of power or stolen bases, Jay could be a sneaky source of runs and decent batting average in deeper leagues as long as he can hold on to the top spot in the lineup.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
