John Brown Won't Play Saturday
4 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receiver John Brown (ankle) will not play in Week 15 against the Broncos on Saturday. Brown remains on Injured Reserve. The 30-year-old still has a chance to return before the end of the regular season, though. Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley will remain Buffalo's top two pass-catchers, while rookie Gabriel Davis should continue to see more chances in three-wide sets in this high-octane offense. Davis has found the end zone in each of the last three games and has scored in four of the last five games. He has nine catches (16 targets) for 166 yards and the three TDs in the last three weeks. Against a beat up and inexperienced Denver secondary this weekend, Davis has some upside as a WR3/flex.
