Penske Racing driver Joey Logano turned in a best speed of 97.830 mph to capture the pole for Sunday's STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway, the first short-track race of the 2019 Monster Energy Cup Series season. This will be Logano's 21st career start at Martinsville, and he has already captured the pole position five separate times. He enters the race with a win, six top-5 finishes and nine top-10 showings while turning in a 13.2 Average-Finish Position. The defending series champ will be a popular selection in DFS this weekend, especially since he has no DNFs in 20 career runs at Martinsville.--Daniel Dobish
