Joe Flacco To Undergo MRI Next Month
5 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco (neck) said he is expected to undergo an MRI exam next month to determine if he will need surgery to fix a herniated disc in his neck. Flacco will also decide at that time if he'll continue his playing career. The veteran quarterback is open to returning in 2020 as the backup to Drew Lock. Flacco will be 35 next month, and he made it just eight games in his first season with Denver before being ruled out for the season. He was a very mediocre game manager in his time under center, going 171-for-262 (65.3 percent) for 1,822 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. Flacco's days of fantasy relevance are long gone.
