1 year agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (calf) is "day-to-day" ahead of the team's Week 1 game against the Cleveland Browns, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Taylor also stopped short of officially declaring Burrow ready to take the field for the start of the 2023 regular season this Sunday. The 26-year-old appears to be trending in the right direction for Week 1, but we'll have a better idea of his availability once Cincinnati releases their first injury report of the year on Wednesday. If for some reason the Bengals play it safe and hold him out, backup Jake Browning would run the offense, making all of Cincy's offensive skill players less attractive in fantasy lineups. Burrow is a must-start if he's active, although he could be rusty after not playing at all in the preseason.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
