5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson (side) is progressing and could return to Cactus League action next week. Manager Dave Roberts still thinks that Pederson will be ready for Opening Day. He still has a chance, but he can't afford any setbacks from here on out with the regular season quickly approaching. The 27-year-old (28 next month) slugger lost some fantasy value when the proposed trade to the Angels was nixed, but he did manage a career-high 36 home runs and 74 RBI for the Dodgers last season. He's expected to be in the strong side of a platoon with A.J. Pollock in 2020, which will give him appeal in deep mixed leagues and DFS tournaments.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
